Encouraging Pastors

The end of the summer was an opportunity for some great ministry. I seem to have more ideas and creative projects than time to create them, but I love what I do. I have asked God for some time in the first part of the year to create content that He has put in my heart, including a "Reset" workbook for people who take an extended vacation or sabbatical. It will help people think through what needs to change to propel them to a thriving state. I also have been working on a workbook for seniors or almost seniors to think through and plan out their last season of life. It is a daunting endeavor but so important. Seniors are not done when they retire. They are transitioning and have so much to offer our world.

I am in the middle of a heavy travel and ministry season. We traveled to northern Utah with our trailer and spent over a week with the Foursquare pastors of Utah. It was great! What a bunch of incredible people! On the way home, we spent a few days in the Bolder City/Henderson area and met with more pastors. We take them to lunch or dinner, ask lots of questions, and hear their story. I love my job! After being home for a week, I returned to southern Utah for the weekend, and now I am returning from the Foursquare Leaders Conference held in Danville, CA. There were many great connections and rekindling of friendships, super worship, and encouraging words.

I was given a 25-year service award (although I have been pastoring for 30 years), and God gave me some great vision for the future. I then spent several days at the beach with Jesus and received assignments and vision for the next year, and God is continuing to show me more things. Next is Costa Rica for ministry to pastors and some church ministry. Then, it is back up to Utah for pastor appreciation. After that, I will go to Argentina to finish a busy year of travel, except for a Christmas party with all those Utah pastors in Las Vegas.

It continues to be an honor to serve God in the way that I do. It is not without some very tiring days, but I love what I do. I was made for this. When I do church ministry, I can count salvations and healings, but there is no quantifiable success when I coach pastors and leaders and meet with them. It is doing what we all do, obeying, using what we have been given, and leaving the plant's production up to God. He is the one who causes the growth. Ours is to do what He tells us to do, which is where our life will be the most impacting and fulfilling!

Pray for us. We know we leave a mark wherever we go. We want to start revival and renewal wherever we go. We would be honored if you financially support us as well. Without financial supply, we can't do what we do. We know that God is our provider, but consider being a distributor. Whatever you can offer, financial or otherwise, we bless God for you and pray for His favor to overshadow you.

"Lord, how wonderfully you bless the righteous. Your favor wraps around each one and covers them under your canopy of kindness and joy."
