This trip began with a lot of travel and a hurricane that disrupted my travel plans. I need a travel agent! When we arrived in our first city, which was through Bogota, Corozal, and Sincelejo, we entered Magangae, Colombia. Our Wednesday night meeting was canceled due to the Colombian national futbol team playing in the semi-final of the America's Cup. We would have had zero people at a meeting. They love their futbol (soccer).
Thursday morning, I spoke at a pastor's gathering, which is always challenging. I love doing it and bringing the exhortation to care for their marriage, family, and health, but there was a bit of division in the city over many issues.
Thursday night, we had an incredible women's meeting. It was such a response for ministry after I taught on the value of a woman and ended with apologizing for my sex (males), for the trauma that they have caused, that I had to call up some pastors to help me pray. I knew they wanted me to pray for them and give them a father's embrace, but there were too many. They were so precious. We saw much ministry and a handful of physical healings.
Friday night, we had a "Night of Miracles". After teaching about faith and encouraging people to believe in God for big things, I activated them to pray for each other. We saw 24 healings that night and a few more after the service. The church pastors were amazed that I liked talking to people after the services and even over meals. They have not been used to that from U.S. preachers. I am a people person! I love loving people talking one-on-one and bringing encouragement. It's what I do.
Saturday, we went back to Sincelejo and spoke at a pastor's meeting; Saturday night, I spoke to the youth. One youth asked me why I was hanging around and talking to them. I said I think Jesus would do the same and love it. We had time with several different pastors of the church who were hosting me. Sunday was two services. The first one was at 7 am! That is the earliest service I have ever heard of. Both services were excellent; we could minister and see Holy Spirit move mightily. We had over 40 healings that morning and ministered for a long time after the service.
Sunday night was Futbal again. The finals! Colombia lost, and we later learned it may have been good since we had to travel back to the hotel from the pastor's house. Evidently, people go crazy, and people die as a result.
Monday night, we ministered in Corozal. We had no idea what to expect. We were warmly greeted in a pretty traditional church. I spoke on John 10:10 and rejecting mediocre. After that, I activated them to pray for the sick. We saw 28 people healed and prayed for a long time after the service for people, which yielded another ten or so healings.
We continue to see many miracles, and watching God work is so much fun! The look on some people's faces when they realize they are healed and can move or raise their hand without pain gives me incredible joy! One particular guy who told us what happened was amazing. He was in special forces and had been blown up and landed on a rock, which had left him in chronic pain in several areas. But Jesus. He is completely healed. He received a high percentage of healing in the meeting and was completely healed in his back. He said he felt fire, and as if God had replaced his vertebrae. He went home and took a nap, which he usually couldn't do because of the pain. But, after sleeping like a baby, he woke up pain-free.
Thanks for your prayers and your financial support. I can't do this without it. I took my friend and excellent interpreter on this trip because of the generous support of the people who give to the ministry. Thank you so much! Our impact is far-reaching and is only growing. Thanks for partnering with us.
