Week 3 Challenge
There are 3 quintessential exercises and this is one of them. Squats. This is the one that most people skip in a gym because there is no machine that can duplicate this movement. Some would try to say that are a few machines that give you a similar movement, but no machine can give you the core and upper body gains that a squat can. Your entire lower body is working hard during this movement, and if you do it correctly, with a hip hinge, your glute will thank you. Not only is this a great exercise for strength, it demands flexibility to perform it correctly and it is a great calorie burner. You burn from 8-15 calories per minute.
